Beginning Friday, March 13th, Flixster is sponsoring the Spring Break Wiki Contest. This contest is open to all Experts, so get ready to Wiki. The top six contributors will be awarded some awesome prizes and limited-edition trophies for their profiles, so your odds are pretty good.

WHO: All Flixster Experts presently in good standing. (I.e. you’ve made the basic edits to your own actor pages. Check the FAQ for details.)

WHAT: It's an edit-off to the death! (er... not really). In short: whoever puts up the most words win!

You've been around the Flixster block a couple times. You know that Flixster, with our good friends at WetPaint, allows its users to add to every actor and director page on the site using the WYSIWYG EasyEdit buttons. For this contest, we’ve picked out a list of actors pages for you to focus on. (These actors don’t have much info added yet, so there’s plenty of room for your brilliant additions.) On top of that, if you feel like you want to spruce up the pages of the actors you presently are an Expert for, we will count that too. :)

WHY: We all love Flixster and we love Wiki'ing! This is a perfect chance to strut your stuff and share what you know about some actors whose pages are a little boring right now.

WHEN: The contest begins on FRIDAY, MARCH 13th at 12:00 noon Pacific Time and runs through MONDAY, April APRIL13th at 12:00 noon Pacific Time.

NOTE: The only contributions that count in this challenge are word additions made using the EasyEdit Toolbar. (The "Comment" functionality on Flixster is a separately powered and tracked application.) Copying and pasting of information from other sites without making changes to the content in order to make it unique may lead to disqualification.

To our Experts using Internet Explorer, we are working on enhancing the EasyEdit buttons to work more effectively with your browser. If you’re having trouble with IE, try Firefox (a great, fast, and free browser).

HOW: To participate, send Expert expert Rob Gordon an Email () or a talk message (RobGordon) that includes your Flixster username and the email address you presently check the most. Once you're confirmed, after 12p Pacific on 3/13, you can start doing your thing! If you haven't confirmed by 3/13, that's fine! Just let us know you want to join in at any time during the contest, and have at it whenever you join in, it's a long month after all. :)
