    There is only one thing wrong with this movie. Thandie Newton, I can't stand her but she?s not in it much so, it?s pretty much perfect. Shakur and Roth bounce off each other so well. Roth?s character is like the 90's version of Rizzo from Midnight Cowboy!

    Saw this one in a film festival and loved it. Tim Roth has always been great but Tupac Shakur suprised me with a fantastic performance. Junkie films are my favourites (Requiem for a dream) 'cause the persons always have a story behind them. Recommended!

    One of the saddest things in the world is to see a actor dying before he could become truly great. The late Tupac Shakur is no exception to that. Knowing that I'm not the only guy who says that but at the same time there's few films that reach the levels of Transpotting did with ...( read more)dark humor that makes not sure whether you should laugh or cry. Tim Roth is as terrific here as he he commonly his and a great turn from Thandie Newton who once again doesn't get the screen time she deserves. It's not perfect but it knows how to stick with you. It's also quite sad that Vondie CurtisHall killed all the cred he earned by directing Glitter.

    wow umn just seen this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is a good movie 2 watch.......its got a good cast of actors/actressess thorughout this movie.....i think that tupac shakur, tim roth, thandie newton, kasi lemmons play good roles/parts thorughout this movie......i thin...( read more)k that the director of this comedy/drama/buddy-comedy movie had done a great job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie.....i think that this is a good movie 2 watch n its got a great cast throughout this movie this is a good movie 2 watch n its enjoyable

    Spoon (Tupac Shakur) and Stretch (Tim Roth) are herion addicts trying to kick the habit. The overdose of their girlfriend and lead singer of their jazz band Cookie (Thandie Newton) gives Spoon that added push to kick.     I believe Gridlock'd was Tupac Shakur's best performance and he could of been a great actor if he were still alive. This movie was released a few months after his murder. It was actually funny to see Tim Roth trying to sound black, but it worked so great here. I wish Thandie Newton could of had more screen time, though. Gridlock'd is a grim look into the lives of addicts and the world around them.

This is grim material, but surprisingly entertaining, and it is more cause to mourn the recent death of Shakur, who gives his best performance as Spoon, a musician who wants to get off drugs. full review
