This is the one film you should not miss the beginning of, because it's the ending you are seeing. From that scene on the story goes backwards in small bits (in color) and forward (in black and white) in other small bits at the same time, to meet at the climax towards the end. So...( read more)

Memento is a great film, original and entertaining. It is however, in my opinion, a little over rated. Much like a couple of other great films - The Usual Suspects and The Prestige (Nolan's later film), it's great the first time round but once you've seen it once, its never quite...( read more)

I seem to be the dissentng opinion on this film. While it was interesting, I found the back-to-front storytelling more irritating than innovative.

REALLY weird movie. It was kinda confusing, so it's one of those movies where you have to make sure you are paying attention the entire time. Definite twist at the end, but there usually is :P

This movie has such high reviews by everyone. It is certainly is presented differently than most movies, but I had a lot of difficulty understanding it -- and I got fed up watching everything twice. But there are some parts that were pretty humorous -- for instance in one scene...( read more)

Great script and direction, completely original. A puzzle to solve, a signature movie for Nolan.

One of the 50 greatest movies ever filmed and one of the signature films of the last 10 years. Christopher Nolan showed us a long time ago what an immensely talented and edgy director he is and he's done nothing but improve upon those skills (hint-hint, The Dark Knight). A wonder...( read more)

Aww. I hate reviewing movies I like. I don't really like any of the actors in it, but they all did a good job. Though, the best part of it is the plot, as it should be. I can't imagine anyway that the movie could've been better.

September 3, 2009Am I the only one that got the story in the first viewing?? It wasn't that hard to follow. Was it?

October 14, 2008The best montage I`ve ever seen! I have no words! And the story is awesome too. Good work!

October 2, 2008One of the Best films out there! A puzzle and not your typical flick where it's all in chronological order. Helps us to relate to Leonard's perspective. Memento deserves multiple viewings.

April 20, 2008I read recently that some critics slated this film, saying that "it wouldn't work if it didn't use a reverse timeline."
Yeah, and Jaws wouldn't work if it didn't have a shark in it.

August 19, 2007Memento is one of the most unique movies I have ever seen and has a continuous stream of surprises. It's so (awesomely) sophisticated you have to watch it twice to get it all. The antichronological is brilliant and offers unique ways to manipulate the audience. A true masterpiece!

June 1, 2007The movie that inspired me to become a screen-writer. This movie is scarily brilliant and done to perfection.
