"Don't go home."
Yet another US remake of an asian horror film. Haven't seen the original so it's impossible to compare the end results of the two films. But having seen a lot of horror remakes, I've never seen a US remake getting better than the original...
I'm not gonna g...( read more) -

I was quite ready to give this film terrible reviews, but alas, I cannot. I say that because horrible reviews and great reviews are far more fun to write than "decent" reviews.
This is an American 'reimagining' of the amazing Korean film "A Tale Of Two Sisters."
It hits the so...( read more) -

I actually liked this movie. As usual, I get myself all worked up and think that a movie is going to be way more scary than it actually is. I definitely didn't see the ending coming and was actually getting mad and thinking that it was going to be another one of those scary movie...( read more)

I haven't seen the original 'Tale of Two Sisters', but after having seen this American remake I instantly had to add it to my list of must-see's. One of the best end twists and overall stories I've seen in a while, the film has a huge amount of depth which I'm sure opens up a bit...( read more)

The Uninvited is a mess of styles and stolen ideas, including a plot twist that would make M. Night Shyamalan roll his eyes and dialogue straight from a CW scene generator. full review
A teenager's resistance to her father's new girlfriend provides the emotional underpinnings for The Uninvited, a spooky, if narcotic, psychological thriller adapted from a 2003 K-horror suspenser. full review
...has more genuinely earned scares than any other recent American horror movie. full review
A horror-thriller that's neither horrifying nor thrilling. full review
Though not in the top tier of psychological horror flicks, The Uninvited is well-paced and offers enough jolts and twists to keep an audience sufficiently on the edge of their seats to offset the pric... full review
The plot borrows as freely from Hitchcock and Henry James as from the Bard of Avon, and doesn't make scrupulous sense, though I'd have to see the film again, which I won't do, to make sure it doesn't ... full review
A truly frightening experience with a 100% certified shocker of an ending. full review
. . .one of those movies that opens in January, makes a few quick bucks from kids who will see virtually any PG-13 horror item that comes along and is then completely forgotten by February. full review
There's a substantial twist in The Uninvited, a pretty fair and reasonably scary remake of South Korean director Kim Jee-Woon's thriller A Tale of Two Sisters. full review
